About Charlotte

Charlotte Duckworth is the USA Today bestselling author of six psychological suspense novels, all published by Quercus.

She also writes contemporary bookclub fiction under the pen name Charlotte Rixon..The One That Got Away was published in the UK & the US in 2023. Translation rights sold to Brazil, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Israel, Serbia and Russia. The film rights have been optioned by a major US producer.

She started her career working as an interiors and lifestyle journalist, writing for a wide range of consumer magazines and websites, and now works as a website designer, specialising in author websites.

She is a passionate advocate for her fellow authors, and writes a popular blog aiming to demystify the experience of being traditionally published.

Charlotte lives in Surrey with her partner and their daughter.
